San Francisco’s year-end commercial real estate market vacancy figures show no change in all sectors, office, industrial and retail. San Francisco overall office vacancy started the year at 18.65% and ended the year at 18.3% Overall office rents dipped slightly to a blended average of $20.14 per square foot fully serviced. Office space under 5,000 square feet continue to see strong demand with vacancy rates dipping to under 6% from 9% last year. While, continued consolidation and layoffs of San Francisco larger companies saw new product re-enter the market to keep overall vacancy rates flat.
